Normanton pupils given a taste of jail as part of shock project
Students were given a taste of jail as part of a shock project to educate them on the consequences of turning to crime.
The year 9 pupils from Normanton’s Freeston Academy took part in ‘Prison Me No Way’ workshop in which a van, made up like a jail cell, was taken into the school so the youngsters could get a closer look.
They were also given advice on how to avoid becoming victims of crime.
