Wakefield clock tower to light up in support of baby Azaylia Cain amid heartbreaking battle with cancer
The condition has been brought into the spotlight by the plight of eight- month-old Azaylia Cain whose brave health battle has touched many people’s hearts.
Ex-Coventry City player Ashley Cain and partner Safiyya Vorajee have been told baby Azaylia's brain tumour cannot be treated.

AML World Awareness Day is held each year to highlight the disease, to share knowledge and improve understanding of it and to support all those affected by it worldwide.
Coun Michael Graham, Cabinet Member for Resources at Wakefield Council said: “We are pleased to help support this global awareness day, to raise awareness of this rare condition and to highlight the need for support for everyone who is affected.
“Whether it’s the person who’s been diagnosed, their family and friends – our thoughts are with all of those affected, including Azaylia and her family.”
