Man dies in South Kirkby road accident
The 26-year-old from South Yorkshire was driving down Hemsworth Road in the direction of Hemsworth when his Peugeot 206 was in collision with a Kia Carens travelling in the opposite direction.
He was treated by an off-duty nurse and doctor but was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hide AdThe driver of the Kia was cut free from his vehicle by firefighters from South Elmsall and Hemsworth fire stations. He was taken to Pinderfields Hospital suffering neck, scalp and spinal injuries. His condition is not thought to be life threatening.
The incident happened at around 4.40pm. Hemsworth Road was closed for several hours. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance also attended the incident.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision. Anyone with information should contact the major collision enquiry team on 101.
