Managing director John Blackburn said: “There’s no doubt the value of the market has fallen thanks mainly to the slowdown in housebuilding and home renovation projects in recent times. But sales have picked up again, helped a lot by the trend towards more open plan kitchen-diner spaces and the importance of design and higher-quality finishes particularly for worktops.
“We’re confident we’ll see double digit growth next year, particularly in bespoke worktops as granite and quartz are becoming much more competitively priced. It’s a great time to be celebrating this milestone, and we’ve lots planned to help our fantastic team and our customers share in our success.”
