On Friday, November 27, Ella Hoult celebrated her seventh birthday.
And the youngster, from Kettlethorpe, has decided to donate her gifts and sell off her Disney princess costumes after noticing homeless people during walks with her mum in the city centre.

“When we see rough sleepers in town, she always wants to give them some money or go into a shop and buy them a sandwich or food for their dogs.”
So far Ella has raised £50 by selling her Sleeping Beauty dress and Princess Jasmine costume.
But she still has Elsa’s blue dress from Frozen and Tiana’s green dress from the Princess and the Frog up for grabs.
Ella says she will miss her costumes.

Ella, who wants to work with people with autism when she is older, said: “I want to raise money because I care about people and animals.
"It hurt my heart when my grandma Mavis died in July, I do not like people being sad and feeling like how I did.”
Ella’s great-grandmother died on July 25 in the hospital at the age of 87.

The caring seven-year-old said: “I would love to make the world better by giving everyone fresh water, food and clothes so they can be healthy, happy and enjoy being alive and getting party bags on their birthdays.
“I want to make the Coronavirus go away so people can survive and I can hug my grandparents again.”
There is no set price for any of the costumes.
Mum Victoria said: “Ella hasn’t got a set amount for the princess dresses, anything people can donate is fine."
To purchase one of Ella’s dresses you can contact Victoria via Facebook or you can donate directly to Calder Grove Cricket Ground Foodbank here.
