Woman, 77, died of severe burns after house fire inquest told
Amy Vaughan, 77, died after a fire at her home on Nunns Close on Tuesday, July 21.
An inquest was told paramedics, firefighters and police were called to the home at around 6.50pm.

Hide AdMrs Vaughan, a retired seamstress, was suffering from dementia and she was cared for at her home by her husband and daughter.
Coroner David Hinchliff said: “Officers attended. She had serious burns and the setee on which she was sitting had caught fire.
“Mrs Vaughan was unconscious and taken to the regional burns unit at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield where her death was confirmed at 12.08 am on Wednesday, July 22.”
Mr Hinchliff said Mrs Vaughan was a smoker and needed constant care.

Hide AdA post-mortem examination gave a provisional cause of death as severe fire burns and smoke inhalation.
Mr Hinchliff adjourned the hearing pending the outcome of further enquiries by the police and the fire service.
