Eddie Battye can give Wakefield Trinity's pack a real 'boost', believes Chris Chester
The London Broncos forward has arrived at Belle Vue on loan following the cancellation of the 2020 Championship campaign.
The Yorkshire-born 29-year-old was one of the Broncos’ standout performers during their one-year stint in Super League last year and has racked up over 200 professional appearances, scoring 20 tries.

Hide Ad“I’m pleased to welcome Eddie to the club on a loan deal until the end of the season,” said Chester.
“Eddie will boost our pack and gives us some depth there with the games coming thick and fast.
“He showed what he can do at Super League level with London last year, and I’m looking forward to working with him for the remainder of 2020.”
Battye is eager to return to Super League action and has been keeping himself in shape with all of the Broncos’ fixtures cancelled.

Hide AdHe has also appeared professionally for Villeneuve Leopards and Sheffield Eagles and said: “I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in at Wakefield.
“I’ve kept myself ready throughout this period and I’m really excited to get the chance to get some minutes at Wakefield, a great and historic club.
“I enjoyed my year in Super League last year and I’m looking forward to playing in Super League once again.”
